Wearable

We made this wearable to make a statement about the acceptance of female body hair. It’s an eatable object created from chia seeds. The seeds sprout in the dark and open up in the light. Care taking and attention is an important aspect in this project of the growing ongoing “body hair”.

This work is inspired by a workshop from Dasha Tsapenko and I made this in collaboration with Rosa Poelmans and Katrijn Westland.
